FLSA: Regular/Part-Time/Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $18.27/Hourly
Department: Parks and Recreation
Reports To: Kids Space Program Director/Coordinator or Designee

Under the direction of the Kids Space Program Director/Coordinator, manage the day-to-day operations of the Kids Space School Age Program (KSSAP). The Site Director is responsible for the general administration and operation of the KSSAP program site according to the policies and procedures and is responsible for the implementation and assisting in the development of program activities and environments that are models of quality. The Site Director will also be the model caregiver, providing supervision and care for school-age children through a caring, positive, authoritative relationship.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS And REQUIREMENTS
Valid New Mexico Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Associates degree in early childhood education (ECED) or related field.
One (1) year of experience working in a similar program or early childhood education setting.
CPR and AED Certified preferred, or ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment.
A combination of work experience, training and education may be substituted to meet the minimum qualifications.
