Location: Santa Claus, IN
Pay: Starting from $19.00 per hour
Salary: Based on experience and licensure
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Wastewater Operator to join our team. This full-time position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of our wastewater collection and treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the wastewater collection system to ensure optimal performance
- Wastewater collection system maintenance and repair
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues as they arise
- Operate and maintain plant equipment and processes
- Conduct laboratory duties and tests to ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist Water & Street departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in utilities is preferred
- Electrical experience is preferred
- Mechanical experience is preferred
- Must be able to obtain a Class III Wastewater Operator License from IDEM within three years of hire
Work Location: In person
