The Town of Sandown is seeking a reliable and highly motivated part-time Land Use Administrative Aide to assist our planning, zoning and conservation land use teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical and administrative support to our land use departments.
- Assist with preparing agendas, transcribing meeting minutes, and notices for land use boards and commissions.
- Manage scheduling and multiple priorities
- Manage records, applications, databases, filing systems and correspondence related to zoning and land development.
- Interact in a professional manner with applicants, the public, developers, other departments and property owners regarding land use inquiries.
- Support staff in compiling and managing budgets, reports, legal notices and permit tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a government or planning-related setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with zoning terminology and land use processes a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
This position is part-time, up to 25 hours per week. The schedule includes 16 in-office hours per week plus attendance at meetings. Attendance at evening meetings is required; evenings include the first and third Tuesday of the month for the Planning Board, second and fourth Thursday of the month for the Conservation Commission and the last Thursday of the month for the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
