SHORT-TERM SUBSTITUTE
FULL-TIME (UNDER 90 DAYS)
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Moderate / Severe Disabilities
NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL

Estimated End Date: End of School Year
Responsible for curriculum planning and implementation of IEPs. The Special Education Teacher collaborates and coordinates
with administrators, educators, and instructional assistants. They co-treat/provide services to students with the school counselor,
therapists and other educators. The Special Education Teacher is a liaison with families & providers, and provides
educational services to students in partnership with other students.
The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts DESE state certification – Special Education Teacher, a strong communication
and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem-solving skills. They will be knowledgeable and proficient with
Federal/State laws and regulations and the IEP Team meeting process.
Current Massachusetts License Required. Moderate Disabilities Licensure Preferred.
$125 PER DAY
