Natick Recreation and Parks is seeking energetic, responsible, and fun-loving applicants who enjoy working with people of all ages to join the Natick Recreation and Parks team as the Program Assistant -Natick Drama Workshop. We are seeking an experience Program Assistant to help with their biannual productions. This position will support staff and volunteers, performers, and logistics.

Essential Functions
- Assists with department wide promotion, planning, and implementation of Natick Drama Workshop (NDW) programs and events.
- Develops and oversees winter and spring NDW productions.
- Works with staff and volunteers to implement programs and special events.
- Accept and consider program feedback, comments and ideas from participants.
- Monitor programs held off site.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries from vendors, instructors, volunteers, and participants
- Provide support for program activities, such as preparing materials and resources, coordinating logistics, and communicating with participants, vendors and instructors.
- Assist with program outreach efforts, such as social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Perform industry research to stay up-to-date with best practices and inform the development and enhancement of programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and data.
- Set up room or program space prior to program start time.
- Other duties as needed to run programs.
Education and Experience:
- Has a Bachelor's Degree and/or is licensed in the field.
- 2 years of experience in the field including supervising staff.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with theatre productions with increasing responsibility, including supervising staff.
- Current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Valid Drivers license
