Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care activities in accordance with care plans.
- Support a nurturing, patient-centered environment that promotes health and well-being.
- Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Completion of a Massachusetts-approved CNA training program with an active, valid CNA license in good standing.
- Certifications: Current Adult CPR/AED certification required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs regularly.
- Physically capable of assisting residents with mobility and transfers.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and remain active for extended periods.
- Mental and physical stamina to manage the demands of a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Basic English communication skills required (verbal and written).
