What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant III/ BUILDING AND BOARD of APPEALS position at Town of Millbury?
Job Summary:
This is a full-time (35 hour), benefitted, union position. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain efficient daily operations in the office of the Building Department & Board of Appeals, including extensive record keeping, payroll entry, processing and paying invoices, fielding issues / complaints / concerns to the appropriate internal personnel, while providing a high level of professionalism, scheduling, and customer service. Creates posts, processes the Board of Appeals meeting agenda, records Board of Appeals meeting minutes, and adheres to Open Meeting Law; attends bi-monthly or monthly Board of Appeals meetings
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent plus (3) three of experience in an office setting. Experience in a municipal setting and in dealing with the public, strongly preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Must possess great attention to detail and be able to multi-task and work accurately.

Pay: $24.28 - $25.51 per hour
