Education Support Professional - KINDERGARTEN

Applicants should embrace this philosophy when applying. • Assist with lesson planning and preparing materials for lessons as well as lesson delivery (when needed) • Collaborate with staff and service providers to support students • Support students in classrooms with academic/behavioral/emotional needs • Maintain positive relationships with families, allowing classroom teachers to address concerns with parents • Assist students in toileting/diapering (if needed) • Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks • Maintain confidentiality regarding all personal information regarding children, families, and staff • Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. • Facilitate group activities • Other duties assigned by the building administration and/or supervising staff
