What are the responsibilities and job description for the Confidential Secretary to the Town Supervisor position at Town of Lenox?
Responsibilities
- Answer calls, greet visitors, and manage incoming mail
- Monitor and respond to Supervisor’s Office email and assist with correspondence and daily operations
- Maintain calendars, files, and overall office organization
- Serve as a liaison between departments, partners, and the public
- Prepare agendas and board packets and assist with livestreaming meetings
- Onboarding/Offboarding new employees
- Process payroll and retirement reporting and monitor timekeeping and overtime/comp records
- Code bills and assist with basic budget tracking (opportunity for training and professional growth)
- Assist with grant applications, track timelines, and submit reimbursements
- Update website, coordinate IT requests, and maintain software, licensing, and account access
Assessor’s Office Support (as needed):
- Counsel residents on property tax exemptions
- Enter new property sales in RPS; scan and maintain digital records
- Mail sale information to new property owners
- Enter new bank and escrow information in RPS
Pay: $45,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
