What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Town Attorney position at Town of Hamden?
The Town of Hamden is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Town Attorney.
General Statement of Duties: Performs legal work, including litigation of all types and matters for and against the Town of Hamden, including representation of Boards, Commissions and Officials with significant emphasis on Fair Rent and Housing matters and hearings.
Supervision Received: Works under the direction of the Town Attorney.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school plus minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience preferred. Must be a member of the Connecticut Bar and eligible for membership in the Federal Bar.
