What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Instructor (Fall Program) position at Town of Greenwich?
Assist the volunteer coaches with program instruction, organization, field set-up, clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
The Soccer program meets for 8 sessions, on Saturday mornings for approximately 2 - 4 hours per week.Previous soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be available for full duration of the program.
May be required to pass a background check.Provide positive instruction, encouragement, and guidance to participants in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Teach and demonstrate fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and age-appropriate game concepts.
Conduct skill-building drills and activities designed to promote player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Organize, supervise, and officiate modified games and scrimmages.
Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating leadership, respect, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
Help ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by monitoring activities and following program procedures.
Ensure all equipment is properly set up before each session and collected, stored, and secured following program activities.
Communicate effectively with participants, parents, coaches, and staff as needed to support a positive program experience.

Salary : $17 - $18
