What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Rink Facility Operations Coordinator / Zamboni Operator position at Town of Greenwich?
JOB Assist with overall maintenance of the facility. Operates the Zamboni machine to ensure safe and effective ice surface at the ice rink.
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week during the season. Must be able to work weekday evenings, weekends, and some holidays. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Must possess high school diploma and valid driver's license; plus have some relevant work experience operating heavy machinery.
Demonstrated knowledge of machinery operations including Ice resurfacer, ice edger, power washer, skid steer, and snow blower.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and members of the public.
Physical ability to operate the ice resurfacer, ice edger, power washer, snow blower, and skid steer.
