The Solid Waste & Recycling Worker reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

The Solid Waste & Recycling Worker reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivers containers to new residents and replace damaged residential refuse/recycle containers.
- Performs routine maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of containers and equipment.
- Operates a variety of equipment, machinery, and hand tools used in container maintenance.
- Perform work duties and activities in accordance with Town and division safety practices and policies.
- Monitors and maintain inventory levels of equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in customer service and related vehicle/equipment operation.
- Experience in solid waste operations is desired, but not required.
- Experience utilizing small hand tools.
- Requires working in extreme temperatures that are part of the Arizona climate.
