Anticipated Annual Salary Hiring Range for the role, depending on individual candidate experience, education, and qualifications:
Business Partner I - $66,241 - $75,000
Business Partner II - $73,801 -$88,000

This role has been designated as hybrid, meaning it must be worked a minimum of 50% on-site at a Gilbert facility. That designation is subject to change at the Town Manager's discretion at any time. This is an at-will role and is classified as an FLSA-exempt position. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change, embracing an agile mindset. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or other related field.
- 2 or more years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. This position may be well-suited for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role and who have a working knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
- All employee must live in the state of Arizona prior to their start date
Certifications:
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP designation preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must possess a strong foundation in employment law, including Federal, state, and local employment law, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, etc., and maintain awareness of emerging trends, industry best practices, new regulations, and court cases to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Must have knowledge of recruitment best practices and strategies to elevate the employment brand, enhance the candidate experience, and utilize candidate management systems.
- Must be familiar with techniques and industry best practices for employment investigations, including proper documentation and retention compliance.
- Must have broad awareness of strategies for workforce engagement, attrition reduction, change management, and leadership development.
- Must possess a professional, collaborative, respectful, and empathetic communication style and can work across all levels of the organization.
- Must have strong attention to detail, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and reprioritize work based on business needs and urgency levels.
