Under general supervision of the Administrative Commander the Police Evidence & Property Technician performs a variety of complex and specialized duties receiving, processing, storing, safeguarding, delivering, releasing, and disposing of evidence and property secured by the Firestone Police Department. The incumbent ensures the safe and careful handling of evidence and protects the integrity of evidence through the judicial process. The Police Evidence & Property Technician will be cross trained with the Digital Evidence Technician. This position works with considerable independence, including written and verbal communications which may be complex or confidential in nature.

Pay: $31.81 - $38.17 per hour
