What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lateral Per Diem Communications Officers (Police/Fire Dispatchers/9-1-1 Call-Takers) position at Town of Falmouth?
The Town of Falmouth is excited to open the search for Lateral Per Diem Communications Officers (Police/Fire Dispatchers/9-1-1 Call-Takers) to work open shifts (7 a.m. - 3 p.m., 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., and/or 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.) in our consolidated Police, Fire, and EMS Emergency Communications Center.
Flat rate of $75/hour ($50/hour training rate until shift strength on our CAD system). Full-time dispatch experience required. Mark43 CAD experience strongly preferred.
This is a non-benefited, non-union position, and the hours will be on call, as needed, and as the Per Diem is available. Per Diem Communications Officers are not subject to holdovers or forces.
Applicants must have the ability to pass a background check conducted by the Falmouth Police Department.
