JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Parks
Maintenance Technician position within the Department of
Administration - Facilities and Parks Division. The job duties of the
Parks Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to perform
maintenance tasks with lead worker supervisory responsibilities under
the supervision of the Parks Manager. Primary duties include but are not
limited to: dock installation and removal, buoy placement and removal,
chainsaw work (storm damage and firewood), small engine repair,
structural building repair, etc. \*\*Full-time, year-round position
which may require working on weekends and holidays. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: High School
diploma or GED required. Four (4) years construction, forestry, or small
engine maintenance work required. Associates Degree in the construction
field, forestry, or small engine maintenance technology desired. Minimum
of two (2) years equipment operation (skid steer, back hoe, dump truck,
loader, etc.) A valid Class A CDL license within 120 days of employment
required. Position may require working on weekends and holidays. A cell
