The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Administrative Specialist - Public Works. This role serves as a key customer-facing and internal support role, providing essential administrative, technical, and data management services for the Department. This position performs a wide range of duties that support customer service, permitting, accounts payable, system maintenance, data entry and tracking, and general administrative operations. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing supplies, supporting internal workflows, and ensuring efficient, responsive service to both the public and staff.

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Post-High School higher education and/or experience in records and office management preferred.
- One (1) or more years of customer service experience required.
- Two (2) or more years of demonstrated experience working in a professional office environment with significant contact with the public preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in records management systems preferred.
- Experience and/or training in the use of personal computers, computer software, and records management applications preferred.
- Valid Colorado driver's license required within 30 days of hire.
- Notary Public License required within 60 days of hire.
Full Pay Range is $27.00 - $35.00 per hour.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., or other times/schedules to meet organizational needs.
