Town of Arlington - Deputy Town Counsel/Worker’s Comp Agent
Salary: $112,449 – 135,175 with potential to progress to $162,494.
Job Description: The Town of Arlington seeks a professional to join its collegial management team in the performance of responsible administrative duties managing and directing the Town’s Workers’ Compensation Self Insurance Program and Line-of-Duty program; represents the town before courts and administrative agencies and provides a variety of legal advice to town departments; assists the Town Counsel in advising board and committee members on legal issues affecting the town; participates in a variety of other litigation matters; all other related work as required. Qualifications: Juris Doctor Degree; member of the Massachusetts Bar and Federal Bar; five years of experience in municipal law, medical, civil and administrative law; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
