- Welcome guests with a warm smile and genuine hospitality, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart efficiently to optimize table flow and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Maintain waitlists and clearly communicate accurate wait times to guests.
- Assist with reservations and help coordinate seating for large parties and special requests.
- Keep the host stand clean, organized, and fully stocked with menus and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure seamless service.
- Provide basic menu knowledge and confidently answer guest questions.
- Support the team with light cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain a polished, welcoming entrance.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
- Previous hosting experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
- Valid Food Handler’s Card and RBS Certification.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per shift).
- Comfortable working in an indoor restaurant environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs (menus, chairs, or light furniture adjustments).
- Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly to meet guest needs.
