This role oversees a dynamic culinary operation that includes five restaurant concepts and a world-class banquet program supporting more than 300,000 square feet of meeting and event space. In other words, this isn’t a quiet kitchen gig. It’s a culinary playground—and we’re looking for someone ready to lead it.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Lead, inspire, and develop a talented team of culinarians who care deeply about their craft.
Oversee the culinary vision for five restaurants and a high-volume banquet operation.
Elevate the food program and help position Town and Country as a top culinary destination in San Diego.
Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to design menus that are creative, profitable, and unforgettable.
Maintain exceptional standards in food quality, safety, consistency, and presentation.
Bring energy and leadership to a fast-paced resort environment where no two days—or events—are the same.
Qualifications
What You Bring
Proven leadership as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a large resort, hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment.
Experience managing multi-outlet kitchens and large banquet operations.
The ability to inspire teams, mentor future chefs, and build a culture where people want to stay and grow.
A passion for ingredients, technique, and taking a culinary program to the next level.
Strong operational discipline—food cost, labor management, and kitchen organization are second nature.
The ability to stay calm, focused, and maybe even a little cheeky when the tickets start flying.
