Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting Harley Davidson motorcycle parts, accessories, and apparel through knowledgeable guidance and product expertise
- Manage inventory levels by stocking, organizing, and conducting regular stock checks using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom to ensure quick access to parts and an inviting shopping environment
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders promptly, ensuring timely order fulfillment and delivery readiness
- Support vehicle maintenance and repair activities by providing automotive diagnostics assistance when needed
- Engage with customers via phone etiquette, offering product information, scheduling maintenance appointments, or answering inquiries about motorcycle care and upgrades
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership or retail sales environments, preferably within automotive or motorcycle sectors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and stock replenishment efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service procedures
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to connect with diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with CMMS software, Microsoft Excel, retail math, POS systems, and general inventory management tools
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to upsell products and close sales effectively
- Experience in dealership or retail environments involving marketing strategies and sales management techniques
- Ability to handle cashiering duties including cash handling with accuracy while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills to manage stocking tasks and maintain a well-organized workspace
- Valid dealership experience or prior work in automotive service centers is highly desirable
