We are looking for Shop Helpers to join our team and be an integral part of our fabrication process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring raw and fabricated materials are cleaned and prepared for coating and shipping . The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, attention to detail and be proactive with a desire to learn new skills and be promoted to other positions in our shop.
The ideal candidate must:
- have a valid state or federal issued id
- speak English
- be safety oriented
- must pass a drug test
- have a positive attitude and attention to detail
- have previous experience in a labor intense position
- be able to lift 50 pounds continuously through out the day
- be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- be able to work weekend and OT as needed
- lives 30 minutes or less from Tomball, Texas (FM 249 and Boudreux)
Responsibilities:
- follow oral and written directions.
- clean steel and fabricated materials
- grind and de burr welds out
- some painting and drilling holes on steel materials
- load and unload fabricated materials onto powder coating line
- prepare coated materials for shipping
Job Type: Full-time
