Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter legal process data into the workflow management system within time limits.
- Validate, log, and respond to civil legal demands for customer records in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
- Answer calls on the team’s 800 number and process incoming legal documents.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities, and check output.
- Resolve data issues using standard procedures or escalate to a team lead/supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in all tasks.
- Perform general administrative duties including copying, filing, sorting, and mail distribution.
- Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently.
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient typing and transcription skills.
- Solid computer and technical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn basic legal concepts, terminology, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and escalate issues appropriately.
- Legal background, education, experience, or paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
