POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Collect
close out package information
● Additional functions:
o Azimuth
o Tape drop
o Grounding
o Cables supporting spec
o Weatherproofing spec
o Maintenance tasks
Requirements
Qualifications
and Skills:
● Ability to work
with advanced hand/power tools and alignment tools
● Ability to work
under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
● Ability to work
independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of
instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard best practices
● Basic computer
skills
● Must
be RF Awareness, CPR/FIRST AID, OSHA 10, Comtrain (or equivalent) certified
● Must
be able to travel away from home for 3 - 6 weeks at a time
● Valid
Driver’s License with a clean driving record
● Must
have basic hand tools, full climbing gear, boots, work clothes, PPE
Physical
Requirements:
● Must
be able to climb and work on the towers, poles, buildings (no fear of heights)
● Must
be able to lift and carry at least 70 pounds
● Must
be able to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully
● Must
be able to work in inclement weather (snow, rain, heat, high winds, etc.), long
hours and variety of shifts (including night work)
● Must
be able to pass ongoing drug screen testing
Authority:
● Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and accidents
