Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other maintenance management software, aligning with project scope and objectives
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish realistic timelines and milestones
- Monitor project progress through regular updates, identifying potential delays or conflicts early and implementing corrective actions
- Analyze schedule data using Excel for trend analysis, resource allocation, and performance metrics to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance plans, contracts, and schedule changes to ensure transparency and accountability
- Collaborate with cost management teams to integrate scheduling data with budget tracking systems like HeavyBid or similar tools
- Facilitate communication across all project stakeholders by providing clear scheduling reports and updates in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food manufacturing scheduling and project planning within the food industry
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, Mechanical engineering project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of maintenance estimating, contract management, and cost control principles
- Hands-on maintenance site experience with a solid grasp of maintenance plans and site logistics
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets for schedule optimization and risk mitigation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with heavy projects or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Project management experience in maintenance is preferred to ensure seamless coordination across multiple teams
