Touchpoints at Chestnut is hiring for a full-time Laundry Assistant.
Summary:
The primary role of the Laundry Assistant is to collect and sort soiled linen and clothing, load and unload machines, and fold clean linen and laundry.
Responsibilities:
Performs variety of tasks such as collecting and sorting soiled linen and clothing, loading and unloading machines, and folding clean linen and laundry.
Count linen processed daily and make deliveries to assigned areas.
Qualifications:
Must be able to clean clothing and facility linen.
Must be able to operate computerized washers and dryers and understand how these machines work.
Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Some previous experience in Healthcare industry. (preferred)
