Job Description:
As a personal assistant for mom, you will be a part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of our clients. You will be working independently at different clients’ homes in different towns in Connecticut such as: West Hartford, Wethersfield, Farmington, Avon, Cromwell, and Rocky Hill. You will be assisting with tasks such as:
- laundry: wash, dry, fold, iron
- running local errands
- grocery shopping and light meal prep
- email and/or calendar management
- washing dishes, wiping down countertops
- making beds or changing sheets
- making phone calls on behalf of clients to arrange birthday parties or other service providers
- gift shopping and wrapping, setting up and taking down party/holiday decorations
- tidying up around the house (picking up the playroom, putting shoes away, folding throw blankets, hanging up jackets)
- seasonal clothing swaps, toy rotations, implementing new systems that would help families in the home
- keeping updated company notes of your clients routines or any changes in their needs on a regular basis
Personal Assistants for Moms would typically work with one or two clients per day and the shifts typically range from 9am-12pm and 12:30-3:30pm. You would work at the client’s homes within these time frames and occasionally be asked to complete tasks remotely (not while at the clients house) and would be paid for your time worked.
This is a part time position and hours may vary.

- a flexible attitude (you will be working alongside other service providers sometimes as well as the clients when they are home, and sometimes schedules change due to illness or vacations, etc.)
- pass a background check
- be eligible to work in the US
- possess a valid drivers license
- have their own reliable transportation
Physical Job Requirements:
- ability to work on your feet from 3-4 hours at a time
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- ability to complete household chores that require: pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching/extending
