Pay: $16.50 – $17.50/hour

Schedule: Full-time day shift with rotating weekends

Touchmark on West Prospect is the Fox Valley’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to help keep our community welcoming, healthy, and sparkling clean.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure that common areas, resident spaces, and offices are clean, sanitary, and inviting.
• Perform housekeeping and custodial duties such as mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
• Safely operate and maintain custodial equipment, including floor machines and carpet extractors.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols when working with chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Support team members and supervisors by observing and reporting equipment or procedure discrepancies.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of custodial/housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, senior living, or similar setting preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism, patience, and confidentiality.
• A positive attitude, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
