Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, or community care, with a focus on enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive and respectful assistance. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting clients with daily activities and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community activities.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is preferred.
- Training is provided for the knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care.
- Good communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care plans.
- Every other weekend including Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 2-4 hr shifts, morning and/ or evening.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
