As a Direct Support Staff (DSS) and Member Sport Staff (Caregiver), you will be a vital part of providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. With core skills in caregiving and premium skills in first aid, patient observation, and assisted living, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of those under your care. Your relevant skills in long term care and social work will further enhance your ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Possessing a CPR certification, you will play a crucial role in responding to emergencies and providing immediate assistance when needed. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a group home setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and observe patients for any changes in condition and report to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Utilize first aid skills when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure holistic care for individuals.
Qualifications
- Core skills in caregiving
- Premium skills in first aid, patient observation, and cooking
- Experience in group home and assisted living settings
- Ability to provide patient care and assist with ADLs
