Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently to uphold sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep sanitation when required.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is highly desirable.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting adds value to your application.
