Responsibilities
- Operate floor care machinery to strip and wax floors.
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards discovered during cleaning routines.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- No janitorial or custodial experience is required.
- No experience stripping and waxing floors is required but is highly valuable to the position.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors is valuabl.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
