Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and hardscape setup
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, mowing, and excavation
- Perform lawn care duties like mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf
- Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting with proper techniques
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing components as needed
- Conduct landscape maintenance routines such as weed control, debris removal, and seasonal snow plowing
- Help with general site cleanup and ensure work areas are safe, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care practices is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently in outdoor environments
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
