Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Laborer to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of landscape projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and seasonal snow removal. Your hands-on work will directly contribute to enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, and public spaces. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects
- Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
- Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, edging,
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal with proper safety procedures
- Prepare sites for construction or landscape projects by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting up equipment
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and ice management during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery operation is advantageous
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant care is beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance or repair is helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and site maintenance
