Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and plantings
- Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, mulching, and seasonal clean-up like snow plowing when applicable
- Use heavy equipment such as excavators under supervision for site preparation or grading tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly caring for tools and equipment
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools confidently
- Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration
