We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning and custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Manage floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of floors.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure a clean environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial services, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care processes and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
