Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales and market development efforts across the South Central region (TX, LA, OK, AR). This role drives revenue growth, strengthens channel partnerships, and ensures alignment with company sales strategies while managing both a personal territory and broader regional responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Sales Leadership: Execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and KPIs; lead and mentor District Sales Managers and Manufacturer Representative Agencies.
- Business Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline for mid- to large-scale construction projects; drive specifications with architects, designers, engineers, and developers.
- Territory Management: Directly manage North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas territories. Build and maintain high-level relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and market conditions; promote products across hospitality, commercial, residential, higher education, and mixed-use sectors.
- Operational Excellence: Utilize company CRM for accurate forecasting and reporting; ensure compliance with ISO standards (Environmental and Quality Management Systems).
- Industry Representation: Maintain active involvement in trade associations; represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to District Sales Managers.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and semi-annual evaluations of Manufacturer Representative Agencies.
- Manage regional budgets and oversee the timely submission of all sales and expense reporting.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to influence and lead internal teams and external partners.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Education and Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in the plumbing or related industry.
- Preferred: 5 years of leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring sales teams.
Work Environment & Travel
- Travel: Significant overnight travel required throughout the multi-state territory. Attendance at regional and national trade shows, conferences, and company meetings is required.
- Transportation: Participation in a third-party administered vehicle program (fixed car allowance mileage reimbursement).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively via air and car.
- Ability to conduct frequent site visits in various commercial and construction environments.

Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
