Qualifications

Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units., Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit., Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care., Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques., Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
