Qualifications
Current RN license, BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility), 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing experience., Strong communication and adaptability skills.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in the operating room., Assist surgeons during procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and providing instruments and supplies., Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assess their responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions., Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care in the cardiovascular operating room., Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions and provide emotional support throughout the surgical process.
