We are seeking a Hospital Patient Access Rep for a travel assignment in San Francisco, California
The Patient Access Representative provides a range of services required to complete the registration activities of scheduled and walk-in patients seeking services in a variety of hospital inpatient, and outpatient settings including but not limited to the emergency room, diagnostic testing and procedures, and admissions to nursing units.
Facility: UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights
Assignment Type: Travel - Standard
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Shift: 0800 to 1700
Hours per Week: 40.00
Work Style: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Schedules patient appointments for medication management, individual and group therapies
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical office management
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two (2) years of relevant experience scheduling medical or psychiatric appointments in a clinical setting
- Ability to schedule and prioritize workflow
