Now Hiring: Part-Time Childcare Floater Totally Tots Inc. | South Philadelphia Starting Pay: $12 per hour.
Start Date: Early August 2026 Totally Tots Inc. is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic part-time childcare floater to join our team! Our center serves children from 3 months to 5 years old, and this position will provide support in multiple classrooms throughout the day. Position Responsibilities: Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines. Supervise and interact with children in a safe, loving, and positive manner. Change diapers and assist with bathroom routines. Feed infants and assist children during meals and snacks. Clean and sanitize classroom materials, tables, toys, and play areas. Help prepare classrooms between activities and playtimes. Support nap-time, transitions, outdoor play, and dismissal routines. Follow all health, safety, and supervision procedures. Work cooperatively with teachers, management, children, and families
Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexible availability between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Shifts will generally range from 4 to 7 hours per day. Part-time hours may vary based on classroom and staffing needs Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old
Must be dependable, punctual, flexible, and willing to learn. Must be comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced childcare environment.
Must be team-oriented and able to follow directions and learn routines quickly.
Childcare experience and required clearances are a plus but are not required.
