Full Time Lead teacher

Now Hiring: Full-Time Childcare Staff Member

Pay: $14 to $16 per hour
Start Date: Early August 2026

Totally Tots Inc. is looking for a caring, dependable, experienced, and energetic full-time childcare staff member to join our team. Our center serves children from 3 months to 5 years old, and the ideal candidate must be comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

This position requires someone who can confidently lead student activities, support classroom routines, work cooperatively with other staff members, and remain flexible as classroom needs change throughout the day.

Schedule and Benefits

• Monday through Friday
• Must have availability between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Shifts will range from 7 to 8 hours per day
• $14 - $16 per hour
• Paid holidays
• Paid vacation days

Position Responsibilities

•Lead age-appropriate learning activities, games, art projects, music, movement, story time, and hands-on experiences
• Assist lead teachers and provide classroom support wherever needed
• Supervise and interact with children in a safe, loving, and positive manner
• Change diapers and assist children with bathroom and potty-training routines
• Prepare bottles and feed infants
• Assist children during meals and snacks
• Support nap time, transitions, outdoor play, classroom centers, and dismissal routines
• Clean and sanitize tables, toys, classroom materials, feeding areas, and play spaces
• Help reset and organize classrooms between activities
• Maintain active supervision and follow all health and safety procedures
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, coworkers, and management
• Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and licensing requirements
• Be willing to work in different classrooms based on staffing and program needs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous childcare or daycare experience is required
• Must be able to lead age-appropriate student activities
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, flexible, and willing to learn
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced childcare environment
• Must be team-oriented and able to follow directions while also taking initiative
• Must be comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
• Childcare clearances are a plus but are not required at the time of application
