What You Will Do:
- Lead and supervise the electrical engineering team to ensure goals are met.
- Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with national electrical standards and regulations.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex engineering issues.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for electrical engineering tasks.
- Facilitate training and development for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and propose solutions.
What You Bring:
- Familiar with IEEE standards
- Good oral and written communication, computer, trouble shooting, interpersonal skills required
- Ability to lead by example, logical problem-solving skills, works well in team environment, able to manage multiple/changing priorities
- On call 24/7, prompt response is paramount in ensuring any electrical anomaly be handled with urgency
- Extended work hours/schedules sometimes required during turn-around or project activities
- Knowledge and experience in ANSI, NEC, NESC and OSHA 1910 standards as they apply to electrical equipment and safe work practices
- Experience in the application of protective relaying, electrical switchgear and controls (480 to 69kV), induction and synchronous motors
