Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in retail stores or at client locations to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Build lasting relationships through excellent customer service, upselling additional products or solutions to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage route driving responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of merchandise, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices
• Conduct pricing negotiations and provide accurate quotes based on client requirements and company policies
• Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment during deliveries or store merchandising
• Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and route schedules to optimize efficiency
• Follow merchandising standards to ensure product displays are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles, with strong customer relationship building skills
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math for calculations and client quotes
• Familiarity with automobile transportation, route driving, and DOT regulations for safe vehicle operation
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper lifting practices
• Strong organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and sales documentation
• Experience in merchandising or retail store operations is advantageous
