What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems QA Specialist position at Total Warranty Services?
The Systems QA Specialist will support the deal proposal development process by collaborating with all departments within the lifecycle of the setup. This role is responsible for new and modified deal setups to ensure accurate deal setups, auditing and analyzing test reports and coordinating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy. Collaboration with other departments is crucial to ensure the correct and timely setup of deals. This position reports to the Account Implementation Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build relationships and collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and senior management.
- Review and understand new launch or change details in order to perform testing and analyze results against the requirements and the setup, within the deadlines set by the business.
- Compare and analyze test results based on details provided by the business.
- Ensure compliance with agreements and lenders via testing of analyzing new setups to ensure we minimize risk.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate issues identified during testing with internal teams or external partners and collaborate with them until issues are resolved.
- Analyze test reports to validate results.
- Lead the development and participate in the day-to-day execution of business requirements and test plans.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure department processes, procedures and guidelines are kept up to date and accurate.
- Identify areas of improvement, actively participate in and support new processes that are introduced, providing valuable feedback to ensure the success of initiatives.
- Have the ability to use automated processes available for this process to ensure efficiencies are implemented.
- Inter-departmental notifications and updates.
- Review and store all testing documentation and correspondence in a designated location as instructed by company policy.
- Other duties/projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and 3 years using multiple functions in Excel
- Experience with database systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Experience with API is preferred.
