What are the responsibilities and job description for the Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) experienced with IDD Wayne, PA position at Total Support Home Care?
We are searching for caring, empathetic Female Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support a diverse group of individuals with intellectual disabilities in the their community. The ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of others and have the ability to deal with challenging situations while adhering to Total Support Home Care's policies. Attention to detail, especially when adhering to specific protocols and rules while carefully following instructions to care for the needs of the client.
Our services will consist of assistance, support, and guidance (physical assistance, instruction, prompting, modeling, and reinforcement) in the general areas of self-care, health maintenance, decision making, home management, managing personal resources, communication, mobility and transportation, relationship development and socialization, personal adjustment, participating in community functions and activities, and use of community resources.

Qualifications:
- Driver's License (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Caregiving: 2 years (Required )
- Must be able to pass back ground check (Required)
- Must be able to provide Driving History check (Required)
- Must be able to pass Preemployment physical /TB Screening(Required)
