What are the responsibilities and job description for the Location Manager position at Total Seed Production Inc?
Total Seed Production is a corn & soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN and will soon be opening a second production facility located in Windfall, IN. We are currently seeking a location manager for our new location. This position will work directly with the leadership team to oversee all location production activities and will persistently communicate between the two locations. Additionally, this position will have location level responsibilities for all safety, quality, IT and HR functions with assistance from department managers and the leadership team. The Location Manager will play an essential role in the continued growth and success of Total Seed Production and must possess high levels of integrity and transparency that align with Total Seed Production’s core values.
Requirements for the position are: Bachelor’s or Associate Degree with 2-3 years related work experience; High School Diploma with at least 5 years work experience, or equivalent. Proven experience in leadership through prior management of a team or business. First-hand knowledge and experience in seed production, quality management, customer service and business administration. A qualified individual must be highly organized to balance multiple projects and priorities; as well as the ability to communicate professionally throughout all levels of the organization and directly to customers and vendors. Furthermore, the location manager will have an understanding of the measurement of performance for company goals and standards and the establishment of targets for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery and organizational culture.
