About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. The end result of your work will be the successful rehabilitation of clients, enabling them to communicate effectively and participate fully in their daily activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
