Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
