Part time Janitor

Looking for a dependable and independent part time cleaner to clean 1 commercial building in Havre, MT. The building is cleaned monthly . Hours are flexible and pay is good for the amount of work required. We are a maintenance company that does janitorial, lawn care, and snow removal.

We’re a good company to work for and we treat our people well. We stay in touch, and we give you what you need to do the job well. We have been taking care of telephone buildings since 1994. If there is any extra work called for beyond the regular janitorial work, we call and ask you and we pay fairly for any extra work.

It’s pretty basic cleaning!

Great for retiree or someone who is looking for extra cash. You don’t do anything with the telephone equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Empty all trash cans.
• Change out any burned-out light bulbs (except those above telephone equipment). If the fixtures are up too high, we refer them.
• Thoroughly clean any restrooms and fill dispensers, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, partitions, wall heaters, coat racks, and dispensers as you are filling them.
• Damp wipe horizontal surfaces in any “office” areas including top of what are usually cluttered desks, file cabinets, windowsills, wall heaters, fire extinguishers, etc.
• Dust mop tile floors in telephone equipment areas, wet mop the traffic areas in these equipment rooms, and a portion of these rooms so over two months the entire room is wet mopped.
• Vacuum all mats.
• Clean any Entrance glass to the facility.
• Check and clean any mechanical rooms for trash, dust mopping needed, wet mopping needed.
• Dust mop any stairs and wet mop if needed. Dust stair handrails at the same time.
